I’m all about romanticising life. To find beauty and magic in moments makes life so rich. And what better way to do so than to gather your girls for a French inspired picnic?
Before you go out and buy your picnic fare, ask your friends what they already have. We pooled our picnic resources together and were delighted to realise that we had almost everything we needed. What we didn’t have, we thrifted in our local second-hand stores – perfect for vintage treasures! Then it was time for the best part, the French food…
We shopped locally at The Olive Place and The Farm Byron Bay for fresh sustainable produce, croissants, baguettes, fromage and a little champagne. Our beautiful angel from France even whipped us up a divine lemon tart with love.Â
With all of our preparations done, we headed to our favourite sunset spot in the hills to set up the French picnic of our dreams. The art was in the details, from the lace and flowers to the music on our playlist. And of course, we dressed in our Spell best. You can be sure much frolicking followed. Ahhh la vie en rose!Â
With love,
