Nestled among the trees just outside the bustle of Byron Bay, Folk has long been one of my favourite spots — for coffee, slow mornings, and connection.

One day the inspiration struck to paint this place, a kind of love letter in paint. The result is a soft, whimsical piece that captures the sunlit essence of the place.

I’m incredibly honoured that the finished painting now hangs on the wall inside Folk — a quiet nod to the magic of local places and the community they nurture. Even more exciting, I’ve turned the design into postcards, available to purchase at the café counter. It’s a small way to take a piece of Folk home — or share a little piece of it with someone special.

This collaboration means a lot to me as an emerging artist. It’s about celebrating local life, inspired creativity and the places that feel like home. If you’re in Byron, pop into Folk, have a coffee under the trees, and maybe take a postcard home with you.
