Tucked away in the forest behind the coastal town of Brunswick Heads, you can escape to Koru Sabi Lodge for a magical off-grid stay that celebrates the beauty of the wabi sabi way.
We stayed in the Pine Cabin. Picture rustic timber interiors, cosy nooks, a crackling fireplace, a cedar barrel sauna, a hot tub underneath the night sky, and an entertaining outdoor area strewn with fairy lights. Staying here really felt like we stepped into a fairytale of our own.
We spent our time slowly and simply; warming up by the fire, crocheting by the bay window, sweating in the sauna, cooking together in the cabin, sharing wine and nibbles on the deck, sipping coffee in bed, watching the stars emerge and falling asleep to the sounds of the forest.
With 5 stars, I can’t give them any more. But I can definitely recommend a stay here!
