We all view ourselves and our world through a lens made up of our values. Values reflect what is most important to you, what you believe in and what directs the course of your life. If you are living out of touch with what your values actually are, you may feel lost or rudderless. So taking time to understand your values can help you steer forward with clarity for a fulfilled life.
Below are some questions to help you determine your values:
- What do you spend most of your time thinking about?
- What do you always make time for, no matter what?
- How do you spend most of your money?
- What are you doing when time flies by?
- What do you do that gives you the most energy and joy?
- What inspires you?
- What do you wish you could spend more time doing?
- What things are you currently doing that you love?
- Is there anything you’re spending time, money or energy on that you don’t enjoy, is a distraction or is destructive?
I invite you to choose 5-6 of the words below to hone in on your values, then rank these in order. Your top three values should offer clarity about how you can live a life that fulfils you by honouring what is most important to you.
I hope this has helped you gain some clarity on what’s most important to you and your life!
With love,
Clo xx
